Our mission statement is “To provide professional, memorable running events for both elite and recreational runners, to offer inspiration for young Irish athletes and build continuous support for our three chosen charities”
Support for each of our 3 charities is continuous. Each charity will receive a number of complimentary entries in way of a donation and will receive ongoing PR and marketing support. As the race event grows in size, the support for our charities will grow also.
In addition to our charities, we are going to set up a fund with the Athletics Association of Ireland to develop young Clare athletes so they can reach their true potential through coaching and development. We hope our events inspire young athletes to become the long distance running champions of the future.
Please join us in supporting one of the below charities and contact them directly to request a sponsorship card.

Special Olympics Ireland
Special Olympics Ireland changes lives. It’s about fun, friendships and team spirit, it’s about a feeling of belonging, and it’s about working together. Special Olympics Ireland is first and foremost a sports organisation for people with an intellectual disability, but it provides athletes with far more than the physical benefits of sport. Special Olympics changes lives in so many different ways. Through sport, athletes develop both physically and emotionally, they make new friends, realise their dreams, and know they can fit in – Special Olympics enables them to achieve and win not only in sport but in life too. For more details contact Gaye at your local office on 061308008 or email gaye.moore@specialolympics.ie.
