Cliffs of Moher Half and Full Marathon Courses
The Cliffs of Moher Full marathon starts from the beautiful seaside resort of Lahinch known to many as the surfers paradise. After leaving Lahinch you will run through the quaint market town of Ennistymon through Kilshanny and towards Doolin. You will approach Doolin with the coast line in front of you and Doonagore castle to your left. Turning left at the church you shall run through Doolin Village and pick up the half marathon route.

The Cliffs of Moher Half Marathon takes you through the quaint picturesque village of Doolin heading towards the road that takes you to the Cliffs of Moher passing Doonagore Castle on your right hand side. As you will see by the elevation photo it is up hill and flat in places leading to the Cliffs for the first 9km tough at times, certainly achievable. The joy is when you arrive at the Cliffs of Moher Visitors Centre where you will be met with a big cheer and lots of support. Then you will know it is down hill all the way with a breath taking view to take with you!
